Can this specifically search a particular field?

Hi there, on my profile fields if my members profile has a section for cars and a section for vans for example.

Then selected by either radio or tickboxes they have a volkswagen selected in cars and a volkswagen selected in vans it’s returning all results. If a user searches and selects volkswagen car, they are getting cars and vans in the results page that are volkswagen.
